There is a normal historic belief that Indian and Chinese share a similar feature which is common ancestry as horoscopy systems
and are much similar to content. Both traditions focus on the casting of an astrological chart. The only difference between the both
traditions are that Indian astrology continue to use the sidereal zodiac, linking the signs of zodiac to their original constellations, while
western astrology uses the tropical zodiac. In western astrology the link between sign and constellations has been broken, whereas
in Indian astrology it remains of paramount importance.
Whereas, in the Chinese astrology, a different way of tradition has evolved. By contrast to western and Indian astrology, the twelve
signs of zodiac do not separate the sky. The Chinese evolved a system where each sign corresponds to one of the twelve signs that
governs the day, and to one of the twelve months.
Current traditions

The main traditions used by the modern astrologers are:

1.        Chinese astrology.
2.        Jyotisha astrology.
3.        Western astrology.
There is various type of astrology, some of which share same features due to the transmission. Other traditions developed in
isolation and hold completely different methods.
Traditions
It is a common belief among the astrologers is that the position of certain celestial bodies either influence with human affairs.
The core beliefs of astrology were prevalent in most of the world and follows this simple wording “AS ABOVE SO BELOW”. Although,
there is a myth that the events which eventually happened in the sky performs the important role in the natives astrology. In west,
there has been a debate historically among the astrologers over the nature.
Astrology is a group of systems, traditions and beliefs in which knowledge of the relative positions of celestial bodies, and related
details is held to be useful in understanding, interpreting, and organizing information about personality, and other terrestrial matters.
An astrologer is that who practices the astrology according to its predictions, calculations and other forms of astrology.
